After more than 30 years of saddlemaking experience, David Stackhouse still makes saddles in the traditional way. Stackhouse saddles have the highest standards of quality built into them. All saddles are made on British standard spring trees, have traditional wool stuffed seats, handsewn point pockets and skirts. All machining and stitching is recessed, preventing wear. David Stackhouse gives all customers a promise of quality that can seldom be matched. Saddles made-to-order to fit both horse and rider are available upon request.

The DGS close contact saddle (shown here) is designed to incorporate perfect balance and comfort. All sizes from 15 1/2 - 17 1/2 including half sizes.
